Hucog Inj
Hucog Injection is used for Gonadotropin-releasing hormone deficiency, Induction of ovulation, One or both of the testes fail to descend from the abdomen into the scrotum, Ovulation induction and other conditions. Hucog Injection may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Hucog Injection contains Human Chorionic Gonadotropin as an active ingredient.
Hucog Injection works by stimulating the production and by inducing interstitial cells of the testis to produce androgens.
Treatment with HUCOG – 2000 HP Injection
Hucog – 2000 Hp Injection is a hormone that helps the egg in a woman’s ovary to develop normally. It stimulates the release of an egg during ovulation, treats infertility in women, pituitary gland disorder in young boys, undeveloped sexual traits in girls, and increases sperm count in men. Hucog – 2000 Hp Injection is directly injected under the skin or into a muscle.
Precautions
The patient must take certain measures before and while using Hucog – 2000 HP INJ. to ensure proper treatment and avoid any unreasonable scenario. These include :-
*HUCOG – 2000 HP Injection is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
*No information is available on the use of HUCOG – 2000 HP Injection during lactation. Please consult your doctor.
*HUCOG – 2000 HP Injection does not usually affect your ability to drive.
*There is limited information available on the use of HUCOG – 2000 HP Injection in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.
*There is limited information available on the use of HUCOG – 2000 HP Injection in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects
Some of the side effects are :-
- severe pelvic pain
- swelling of hands and legs
- abdominal pain
- shortness of breath
- weight gain
- diarrhoea
- nausea
- vomiting
- headache
- feeling restless
- irritable
- water weight gain
- depression
- breast swelling
- mild pain on site of injection
Hucog Injection – Drug Interactions
If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Hucog Injection may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Hucog Injection may interact with the following drugs and products:
- Follicle stimulating hormone
- Ganirelix
Hucog Injection – Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to Hucog Injection is a contraindication. In addition, Hucog Injection should not be used if you have the following conditions:
- Allergic reactions
- Precocious puberty
- Prostate cancer
