Treatment with Lobet 100 mg Tableticon
Lobet 100 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of high blood pressure and chest pain (Angina).
Self Care Tips:
Lobet 100 mg Tablet is the first choice medication for treating heart failure and for preventing angina attacks (chest pain caused by heart disease).
It should be taken with food.
Check your blood pressure 1 week after starting Lobet 100 mg Tablet, and inform your doctor if it hasn’t improved.
Lobet 100 mg Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don’t drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you.
It is best to avoid drinking alcohol while taking Lobet 100 mg Tablet as it may make the side effects worse.
Do not stop taking Lobet 100 mg Tablet suddenly as it can cause your blood pressure to rise suddenly thereby increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke.
Precautions :
The patient must take certain measures before and while using Lobet 100 mg Tableticon to ensure proper treatment and avoid any unreasonable scenario. These include :-
Taking Labetalol and alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.
Lobet 100 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lobet 100 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Lobet 100 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Lobet 100 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Lobet 100 mg Tablet is recommended.
Lobet 100 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lobet 100 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Some of the side effects are :-
Dizziness, Allergic reaction, Ejaculation disorder, Increased liver enzymes, Erectile dysfunction, Difficulty in urination.
How Lobet Tablet works
Lobet 100 mg Tablet is an alpha and beta blocker. It works by slowing down the heart rate and relaxing blood vessels which makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood around the body.
How to use Lobet Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lobet 100 mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
